What We Collect

DriftSound collects limited anonymous data to improve the app:

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): device model, OS version, and stack trace at the moment of a crash. No personally identifiable information is included.
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics): anonymous events such as which sounds are played, timer duration set, and paywall interactions. These are aggregated and cannot identify you.
Purchase status (RevenueCat): whether you hold an active premium subscription. RevenueCat processes billing transactions on our behalf — see their privacy policy for details.
Advertising (Google AdMob, free tier only): banner ads are shown to non-premium users. AdMob may use an advertising ID to personalise ads in accordance with your device settings and Google's ad personalisation preferences.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or location.
We do not sell data to third parties.
All audio is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
We do not store any data on our own servers.

Data Retention

No user-specific or personally identifiable data is stored by DriftSound itself.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of any data associated with your device by emailing mx4ie77hw@mozmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include the platform (Android) and your approximate first-use date. We will respond and confirm deletion within 30 days.

You may also request deletion directly from the third-party processors:

Firebase (crash/analytics data): uninstalling the App stops further collection; submit a deletion request via Google's Data Deletion Request form.
RevenueCat (subscription data): email privacy@revenuecat.com with your RevenueCat App User ID.
Google AdMob (advertising data): reset your Advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads.

Your Choices

You can opt out of ad personalisation in your device's Google settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
You can disable analytics data collection by turning off "Usage & diagnostics" in your device settings.
You can remove all ads by upgrading to DriftSound Premium.

Children

DriftSound does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no content directed at children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
